Cell Line development process

  1. Transfection
  2. Our scientists introduce a foreign DNA encoding the recombinant protein of interest into host cells, producing stably transfected cells with the ability to express the recombinant protein by integrating foreign DNA into a small portion of their genome

  3. Antibody screening/titer ranking
  4. We quantify cell surface expression or secretion of protein-of-interest or secret antibodies (titer ranking) to screen large populations to find rare high-affinity conjugates or high producers

  5. Single cell isolation and cell viability
  6. Singe viable cells are isolated and cloned to ensure that cell populations are genetically identical and to reduce expression heterogeneity

  7. Monoclonality assurance
  8. We ensure monoclonality of cell lines. In addition, we record images of individual cells and include them in regulatory documents

  9. Clonal productivity screening and titration
  10. We use this method to detect the amount of recombinant protein or antibody produced from clonally derived cell lines
